To celebrate the 50th birthday of the Adidas Superstar, Adidas is giving us the Ultraboost DNA in honor of the icon. The Upper is completely inspired by the Superstar. Instead of Primeknit, this Ultraboost has a leather upper. But to make the reference to the Superstar not only visible through the Colorway, but the famous Shelltoe has also been transferred to the Mudguard. Unlike the usual Ultraboost models, this style comes without the plastic cage and heel cap. Instead, all parts are made of leather. This makes the Ultraboost DNA not so lightweight but it is still super comfortable to wear, thanks to the Boost sole.
